Those who like overseas online shopping should pay attention! The Ministry of Finance intends to launch a "pre-appointment" mechanism. The four high-risk targets, such as the real-name system but never replied, are implemented first.

The Customs Administration of the Ministry of Finance announced the planning schedule of the pre-appointment mechanism. The so-called pre-appointment means that when the express goods are still overseas, the customs broker must first complete the identity verification. After confirming the reply, the customs will release the customs clearance to avoid being falsely declared by the cross-border express package.

Chen Yicai, deputy director of the Customs Administration, said that the first phase will be implemented by the four high-risk objects first on December 1. When the importer receives the push of EZ WAY, if there is no confirmation reply, the customs will not release Customs clearance of goods, the relevant measures are expected to be fully implemented in June next year (111).

As for the second stage, it is planned to go on the road in March next year, and the public can choose the pre-appointment system, so as to confirm that they will not be declared by false names.

According to the statistics of the Customs Administration, as of the end of September, the number of registered users of the EZ WAY real-name authentication APP totaled about 3.54 million, accounting for more than 70% of the simple declaration cases.
